About Us
Growing up I was terrified of dogs. Then I met a boxer named Sybil.
Growing up I was terrified of dogs, then I went to university where my new neighbours had a boxer named Sybil. I fell in love watching her from the kitchen window. When I came across a few extra dollars, I brought home my first boxer at Christmas in 1993. So, the story began.
I have shared my home with 12 boxers over the years. After the first 2, I met Helga and Dieter, of Tanoak Boxers and worked with her to raise my next 10 babies. In addition to going to her for puppies, I whelped 5 litters for Tanoak. After the loss of Helga early in 2026, my recent soul searching led to the realization that boxers and puppies are my passion. I am not ready to give it up just yet. I have decided to strike out on my own using the knowledge that Helga imparted to me over the years and my experience.
All of my puppies have been home raised. My girls go everywhere with me. From business trips to see clients, fishing trips to Gogama, northern road trips with a stop in Kap for cheese curds and a sleep over with Winnie the Pooh at White River. They have their own full-size couch and would argue that they need a bigger toy box and a lot more treats (Don't worry, they get plenty).
I look forward to sharing my love of boxers and their quirks with others.
